The Shawshank Redemption is a classic movie from 1994 following two men's journey in prison and their search for hope and redemption. Originally set in the 1940's over a nineteen year span, this case study brings the film and its storyline into the 1970's. Key typographic props from the film were redesigned to fit into the new era, comped, and photographed for a commemorative movie book. This incorporated all aspects of design including typography, photography, editorial and packaging design, illustration and print production.
